★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto caratteristico ma nei giorni festivi non ci sono bar aperti. Il castello in se è particolare ma credo che, sia il castello, che il paese vecchio che lo circonda, sia da visitare durante il periodo natalizio.
Characteristic place but on holidays there are no bars open. The castle itself is particular but I believe that both the castle and the old town that surrounds it should be visited during the Christmas period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A poche centinaia di metri dall'abitato di Castelluccio Valmaggiore ed a poca distanza dalla strada seguendo un piccolo sentiero sdrucciolevole che scende al torrente si può arrivare alle cascate del torrente Freddo. Molto bello il luogo con una pineta attrezzata nelle vicinanze.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le cascate del Torrente Freddo sono una delle attrazioni della zona. Arrivati all'area picnic Petrera, c'è un sentiero che porta giù alle cascate. Sono circa 50m o poco più. In estate il torrente va in secca, quindi consiglio di andarci in inverno o primavera.
The waterfalls of Torrente Freddo are one of the attractions of the area. On arriving at the Petrera picnic area, there is a path that leads down to the falls. They are about 50m or so. In summer the stream goes dry, so I recommend going there in winter or spring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo davvero bello, proprio lì dove meno te lo aspetti.... Dall'aria picnic di Petrara qualche centinaia di metri parte il sentiero che porta proprio sotto il ponte della statale, e dopo 2/300 si arriva al salto della cascata..... Miglior periodo d'inverno dove l'acqua non manca...
Really beautiful place, right where you least expect it .... From the picnic air of Petrara a few hundred meters the path starts that leads right under the bridge of the state road, and after 2/300 you arrive at the jump of the waterfall .. ... Best time in winter where water is not lacking ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facile da raggiungere. Quattro passi dalla strada asfaltata e si è sul torrente. Carino ma purtroppo facilmente accessibile anche da chi non rispetta la natura.
Easy to reach. Four steps from the paved road and you are on the stream. Nice but unfortunately easily accessible even by those who do not respect nature.
