★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo andati su domenica scorsa ma a causa del grave maltempo dei primi di giugno, non è stato possibile raggiungere le cascate poichè la piena ha completamente distrutto il percorso che va su da Brusimpiano.
We went on last Sunday but due to the severe bad weather in early June, it was not possible to reach the falls as the flood completely destroyed the path that goes up from Brusimpiano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per la cascata si parte da Brusimpiano, dal paese dove c'è un centro di itticoltura (con un piccolo parcheggio vicino).
Da lì c'è una scalinata, poi si entra nel bosco.
Il sentiero dura circa 35 minuti; è ben segnalato; due strisce azzurre orizzontali vi accompagneranno sempre.
Il maltempo e la poca gente lasciano il percorso un po' trasandato, quindi bisogna fare un po'di attenzione.
Assolutamente non è per bambini e non pensate a passeggini. È trekking con molti saliscendi, passaggi sconnessi e sassi.
Tutto il percorso è nel bosco riparato dal sole diretto e si costeggia il torrente. Io mi sono anche azzardato a berne l'acqua che mi sembrava potabile.
Lo spettacolo della cascata alla fine del sentiero ripaga ampiamente la fatica.
For the waterfall we start from Brusimpiano, from the village where there is a fish farming center (with a small parking lot nearby).
From there there is a staircase, then you enter the woods.
The trail takes about 35 minutes; it is well signposted; two horizontal blue stripes will always accompany you.
Bad weather and few people leave the path a bit scruffy, so you have to be careful.
It is absolutely not for children and don't think about strollers. It is a trekking with many ups and downs, bumpy passages and stones.
The whole route is in the woods sheltered from the direct sun and runs alongside the stream. I even ventured to drink the water that seemed drinkable to me.
The sight of the waterfall at the end of the path amply repays the effort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consigliatissima per un'escursione veloce, meglio indossare scarpe da trekking. Dislivello di 250mt, dal parcheggio si raggiunge la cascata nel giro di 25/30 minuti. Suggestivo il percorso tra sassi coperchi di muschio verde che contrasta con il colore arancio del porfido dei sassi sul fondo del torrente. Il percorso è stretto, sdrucciolevole e passa tra sassi stretti, quindi non ci si arriva col passeggino o con calzature non adatte. Arrivati alla cascata ci si rende conto che si è in un posto isolato, lontano dalla confusione e si apprezza il contatto con la natura.
Highly recommended for a quick hike, better wear trekking shoes. Difference in altitude of 250mt, from the parking lot you can reach the waterfall within 25/30 minutes. The path between stones covered with green moss is suggestive which contrasts with the orange color of the porphyry of the stones at the bottom of the stream. The path is narrow, slippery and passes between narrow stones, so you can't get there with a stroller or with unsuitable footwear. Arriving at the waterfall you realize that you are in an isolated place, far from the confusion and you appreciate the contact with nature.
