Very nice way to go for a walk. You shouldn't miss the entrance at the beginning, where the stream is with the natural stone path. It ends in the next place.

Il Giardino delle Fate potrebbe forse essere tenuto meglio. We have not covered it in its entirety, but the path is clean and well maintained, clearly marked, certainly suitable for a walk with children, even small ones. The Fairy Garden could perhaps be better maintained.

A path that winds through the green valley of the San Giovanni stream and allows you to climb from Germignaga to Brezzo di Bedero through "the fairy forest", see the longest bench in Valtravaglia, an environment rich in flora and fauna of different species and some finds from the Cadorna Line.
S	Sara Ferro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sentiero alla portata di tutti, stretto e da percorrere con attenzione per non scivolare giù dal bordo, ma non impegnativo. Noi siamo partiti da Germignaga, parcheggiando alle scuole. Carina per i bimbi più piccoli la prima parte, con il bosco delle fate (anche se mi aspettavo più sculture, e che fossero a tema fate e non solo animali) e gli attraversamenti del ruscello. La seconda parte, passato Brezzo di Bedero, è interessante solo per i ragazzi che abbiano già studiato un po' di storia e possono capire il senso della visita alle trincee della linea Cadorna, ha comunque senso arrivarci perché ci sono un bello spiazzo e un paio di tavoli per pranzo al sacco. Consigliati gli scarponcini da trekking, essendo tutto all'ombra nel fitto del bosco il terreno rimane umido per molti giorni dopo la pioggia. Path within everyone's reach, narrow and to be followed carefully so as not to slip off the edge, but not demanding. We started from Germignaga, parking at the schools. The first part was nice for younger children, with the fairy forest (although I expected more sculptures, and that they were themed fairies and not just animals) and the crossings of the stream. The second part, after Brezzo di Bedero, is interesting only for young people who have already studied a bit of history and can understand the meaning of visiting the trenches of the Cadorna line, it still makes sense to get there because there is a nice open space and a couple of of tables for packed lunches. Trekking boots are recommended, since everything is in the shade in the thick of the woods, the ground remains wet for many days after the rain.
