M	Martin Schmitt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Lage hoch oben am Hang ist absolut fantastisch, von allen Wohnungen, die wir bisher am Lago Maggiore hatten, die ruhigste, frei von jedem Verkehrs- oder Partylärm. Für 4 Schlafzimmer sind die Bäder ausgesprochen klein, und es gibt keinen Gemeinschaftsraum außer Küche und Balkon, so dass das Platzangebot als zu knapp empfunden werden könnte. Die Wendeltreppe ohne Geländer innerhalb des steinernen Turms ist nicht ganz unproblematisch, zum Glück haben wir keine kleinen Kinder dabei gehabt. Eine Lademöglichkeit fürs Auto konnte mit halbierter Schuko-Leistung improvisiert werden. Die Wohnung verfügt über ordentlich funktionierendes Internet, so dass wir zum ersten mal überhaupt ohne italienische Daten-Flatrate klarkamen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden, und die Serpentinen lassen sich auch mit größeren Autos problemlos meistern. (Lediglich die zweite Kurve von unten haben wir nie ohne kurzes Zurücksetzen bewältigen können.) Auch wenn der Standard vor allem unterm Platzangebot und dem etwas beschwerlichen Zugang über die Wendeltreppe leidet, bietet der Balkon eine unschlagbare Aussicht auf den See über die Castelli in Richtung Luino, die wirklich ihresgleichen sucht, und an die wir noch lange zurückdenken werden. The location high up on the slope is absolutely fantastic, of all the apartments we have had on Lake Maggiore so far, the quietest, free from any traffic or party noise. The bathrooms are extremely small for 4 bedrooms, and there is no common room apart from the kitchen and balcony, so that the space available could be perceived as too tight. The spiral staircase without a handrail inside the stone tower is not entirely unproblematic, luckily we didn't have any small children with us. A charging option for the car could be improvised with halved Schuko power. The apartment has properly functioning internet, so that for the first time we were able to manage without an Italian data flat rate. There are enough parking spaces and the serpentines can easily be mastered even with larger cars. (Only the second curve from the bottom we were never able to cope with without a short reversing.) Even if the standard suffers mainly from the space and the somewhat difficult access via the spiral staircase, the balcony offers an unbeatable view of the lake over the Castelli towards Luino that is really unparalleled and that we will remember for a long time.
