★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se la batte con la dirimpettaia cappella Paolina e di fatto, come questa, costituisce una chiesa nella chiesa. Deve il suo nome al Papa che volle ridare lustro alla sua Roma e che potesse essere degna di ospitare il presepe realizzato secoli prima da Arnolfo da cambio ( non si vede dalla cancellata esterna occorre entrare e visitare la cripta sotto il bellissimo ciborio dorato che troneggia al centro). Quando ci sono le funzioni viene chiusa ma merita una visita. Guardate le foto e le altre recensioni su Roma e le sue meraviglie che ho fatto.
 It beats the opposite Pauline chapel and in fact, like this one, constitutes a church within a church. It owes its name to the Pope who wanted to restore luster to his Rome and who could be worthy of hosting the nativity scene made centuries earlier by Arnolfo da Cambio (you can't see from the external gate you need to enter and visit the crypt under the beautiful golden ciborium that dominates the center). When there are functions it is closed but worth a visit. Look at the photos and other reviews of Rome and its wonders that I have done.
