★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place for taking photos from the top of the cliff. You can park next to the nearby museum and walk about 10-20 minutes.
Theoretically you can go down from the cliff to the white limestone and then to the beach, but you have to be crazy to do this. Locals, however, don't care and go down via this steep, slippery, unsecured path which looks like it's gonna slide any minute. So - it's your choice, your responsibility. I didn't dare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Capo Bianco is a fair but more remote alternative to Scala dei Turchi, certainly less popular and wild. You can park a car next to Theatre of Herakleia Minoa, and than have a 15 minutes walk along a cliff up to a point where you can go down to reach a beach. We haven't met a single person there, it's magnificent and relaxing - a must see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb location! It's highly recommend to visit this spot as it's free to get there! Just leave your car at the parking lot and in 15 minutes walk you are at the edge of this outstanding view.
The sun sets here so you do really want to come here for this purpose.
