L'esterno in stile tardo rinascimentale contrasta con l'interno barocco, caratterizzato da sei altari laterali che circondano la pala d'altare del Trasporto di Cristo al sepolcro di Federico Barocci, posta sopra l'altare maggiore. La facciata è di stile tardo rinascimentale ripartita da quattro lesene con capitelli corinzi compositi. Il timpano, molto aggettante e con oculo centrale, è contornato da decorazioni geometriche in pietra d'Istria come i capitelli, la base delle lesene e il cornicione su cui si legge il nome del committente della chiesa, vale a dire la Confraternita del Sacramento e della Croce, e la data di consacrazione. Sulla porta d'ingresso si può trovare l'ammonimento di Sant'Agostino: Erigis et fugit a te humilias te et venit ad te ("se ti esalti il Signore fugge da te, se ti umili viene da te"). Nell'interno attualmente vi si pratica l'adorazione quotidiana davanti al Santissimo Sacramento. La pianta è rettangolare, le pareti sono rivestite in legno dorato finemente decorate con intagli e rilievi, caratteristici dello stile barocco; l'insieme tuttavia rivela un'eleganza e sobrietà di linee architettoniche proprie del Rinascimento. The church of the Cross is a sacred building in Senigallia dating back to 1608, built on the will of the Confraternity of the Sacrament and of the Cross near the central Piazza Roma. The exterior in late Renaissance style contrasts with the Baroque interior, characterized by six side altars that surround the altarpiece of the Transport of Christ to the sepulcher of Federico Barocci, placed above the main altar. The facade is of late Renaissance style divided by four pilasters with composite Corinthian capitals. The tympanum, very protruding and with a central oculus, is surrounded by geometric decorations in Istrian stone such as the capitals, the base of the pilasters and the cornice on which you can read the name of the client of the church, namely the Confraternity of the Sacrament and of the Cross, and the date of consecration. On the entrance door you can find the admonition of St. Augustine: Erigis et fugit a te humilias te et venit ad te ("if you exalt yourself the Lord flees from you, if you humble it comes to you"). Inside, daily adoration is practiced in front of the Blessed Sacrament. The plan is rectangular, the walls are covered in gilded wood finely decorated with carvings and reliefs, characteristic of the Baroque style; the whole, however, reveals an elegance and sobriety of architectural lines typical of the Renaissance.

All'interno, in stile barocco, ospita molti affreschi, tra cui spicca la pala dell'altare maggiore dipinta dal Barocci. very beautiful church in the heart of Senigallia. Inside, in the Baroque style, it hosts many paintings, among which the main altarpiece painted by Barocci.

Aperta tutti i giorni sino alle ore 11, la Dominica viene celebrata la messa alle ore 17. Merita una visita anche se non si è credenti per la particolarità del suo stile. Built in 1498, it was opened for worship in 1608, with a single nave of modest size, it is made of wood with gold leaves, the coffered ceiling and has 6 altars. Open every day until 11 am, Dominica is celebrated mass at 5 pm. It deserves a visit even if you are not a believer due to the particularity of its style.
