Fantastic wines especially Chardonnay-sauvignon and caviti. Beautiful place for a wine tasting with amazing cheese and meats. Grazie Christina, we had a lovely time.

We visited Neri and were delightfully welcomed with amazing hospitality and an awe inspiring tour which included recently discovered caves, followed by a wine tasting with local food pairings. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable welcoming; you must visit and experience this original Templar dwelling and hand crafted wines!

This place was great! We spontaneously stayed at a place nearby, we booked it about 30min. before we arrived at our facility and our host recommended Cantina Neri to us. He called them promptly and asked if we could do a tour with them and a wine tasting. We got a confirmation for the same night and were able to walk over to them because it was so close. We were greeting by a young man named Andre (please excuse if I am spelling this wrong). He was informative, friendly and outgoing. He spoke good English and was passionate about his job. After a tour of the wine yard he took us to the tasting room where we had 5 different wines and food! All included in the price! The service was great, the wines too and the food was a great bonus too! I would recommend this place to everybody! It is beautiful and well worth your money!

My wife and I had a wonderful tour of the winery and our tour guide was very fluent in English! Following the tour, we sampled 5 delicious wines from the winery, Neri, and had a delicious lunch as well. I recommend this winery and tour to everyone. Also, while near Orvieto, make sure you go see the beautiful old cathedral in the middle of the city. It is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Italy.

Beautiful place with some old Etruscan caves that are now used for wine storage. The tour through their vinery was very educative and nice and the tasting was great. Both wines and the accompanying food were delicious. Highly recommended, I hope they get more attention, they deserve it!

My husband and I rented e-bikes from Orvieto (shout-out to Paola at Orvieto Bike Tours near the train station) and biked to Cantine Neri. Our tour of Cantine Neri was really great! Our guide knew a lot about the history of the vineyard, home, and land. We were so impressed by the wine history as well as the history of the property. We then enjoyed a wine tasting with cheese/charcuterie in the tasting room. They were very generous and let us try all of the wines we requested. Cantine Neri has many great wines - we especially liked their DOC Orvieto Classico and the Grechetto. As we were out of room in our luggage, they were happy to arrange shipment of the wine bottles we purchased back to the US. The process was very easy and reasonable. Overall, we would highly recommend a visit to Cantine Neri if you are staying in Orvieto or the surrounding area!

I'm Still Dreaming Of This Place....sigh... You know when you accidentally stumble across a gem - well this happened to us. My bestfriend and I were on a trip to Italy this past mid September. While I do NOT drink, I DO have a love affair with the beauty of vineyards, and I wanted to treat my bestie (who does enjoy the occasional glass of wine) to a wine tasting. We were in Orvieto for only one night, and stayed at a quaint place called Agriturismo Cioccoleta. When I asked the owner (Angela) where we could go for a wine-tasting, she generously called the owner of Neri, and arranged a reservation for a wine tour for 7 p.m. - which I felt was the perfect time to see the hills gilded in gold. When we reached Neri (which was about a 5 minute drive from our Agriturismo), we were greeted by our very friendly host - Andrew. The owner also stopped by to welcome us. There was only one other sweet couple from Russia who was also tour with us. The four of us were given the choice of either a wine tour or a wine/food tour. At $35 Euros, we thought the wine/food tour would be a good choice and it was indeed. The tour of the cellar and a hidden, recently-found cellar in a bunker on the property did not take too long before we headed to the dining area. I can't even recall how many wines we were offered for tasting - I believe at least 6 - with generous refills. Dinner was delicious and satisfying. Pros: -Beautiful Grounds where you forget the world outside. -Wonderful, considerate hosting. We had such an enjoyable time, eating, drinking and conversing with our Russian counterparts that time passed quickly and even though it was getting late, our host was ever patient. -While I can't rate the wine, because I despise the smell and taste of alcohol (don't boo me), my bestie said it was the best wine she had. She enjoyed hers and mine lol. -Reasonable pricing for a private tour. Having visited numerous beautiful wineries in northern California (the topography is very similar), it was so exhilarating to feel like you had the vineyard to yourself without feeling crowded by visitors/tourists. Cons: -I can't get back there soon enough! Tips: GO, GO, GO!

Really enjoyable tour and tasting, wonderfully hosted by Andrea. We particularly liked their Grechetto white wine. It is a magical spot. Highly recommend a visit.
