Pizza, dessert, service...just excellent!

Very cozy and nice place to sit. Most delicious pizza you may get in Genova Best thing about this place is the owner and the staff are so decent and nice.

Service is ATROCIOUS. First time we came without a reservation, the food looked good and it did not disappoint, so we thought that service was slow and inattentive due to is not booking in advance. So next time we did book. But when we came, the table was not ready and we waited for 20 min to be seated, and then even longer to get any attention (we didn’t). When confronted, the owner said ‘You can just leave’. So we left after 30 minutes of being actively ignored.

It’s a place with great food, but terrible service makes you feel miserable. No food in the world is not worth to feel it. We were in this place at beginning of our holiday - food was good, service under the big question: the waiter was not so desperately looking to a moment explain us what is what in menu difficult, which is difficult even for Italians. But not from Liguria. But food was really good and we decided to try once again at our last evening. We booked a table, the idea was to arrive at 9 p.m., but we were told there was a only one possibility only at 8.30 p.m. We were sharply on time and announced our arriving. Restaurant was not fully booked. In 10 minutes nothing happened. At the same time group of locals arrived later than we and they were already seated and welcomed. We were a bit annoyed, asking once again and got a table finally. At 8.57 p.m. nobody came to take our order. I went to the entrance and super kindly asked what is going on and stressed we arrived half an hour ago. The answer was (direct translation, I speak Italian): “If you are not happy with our service, go away!”. We left. Yes, guys, I like good food, but I like myself more. If you do not care about tourist and oriented to locals only - please, announce it in advance. We wish you to improve your service dramatically. Just an advice how people in other restaurants do that: you offer a free wine, apologise for inconvenience and announce the time interval the clients will be served. Your service is no go.

If you are in Genoa, you have to stop here. This is my favourite pizza place... So yummy ??

I definitely recommend this place! The pizza is huge but at the same time slim and crunchy. They do not except bookings so you would better give them a phone call just to be sure there is a free place. Cozy dehor outside.
