★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Italian Food we tasted so far… Chef has no taste at all. Pasta with squid was tasting like a onion supernova (imagine eating highly concentrated onion syrupe) and the squid was extremely overcooked (like eating shoe door)… Carbona di mare was tasting super sourly and was also looking very untasted. Could there have been flies inside the olive oil. Firee derr Tine eating Bad in Italy. Better go somewhere else!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great lunch with huge selection if antipasti including cold marinated fried Sardines, papà al mare, fried baccalà, anchovies with olive oil and bruschette, cozze e vongole (variety of shell seafood). For the primi we got carbonara al mare which was a spaghetti with shrimps and seafood cooked in a delicious garlicky sauce (perfectly al dente), risotto al mare with squid and crabs and gnocchi di paranza. We couldn’t even get to secondi because we were super full. We paid fairly for this banquet and even more on the cheaper side I would say (under 20€ each for a group of 7 people including water and wine). Highly recommended, but call to book on advance as they were so full for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in a small street of Livorno, this restaurant serves the freshest and tastiest food I had so far in Italy. Known for its seafood, their dishes do not disappoint. Must tries will include their mussel and clam soup, and the pasta arriabatta. ?
