★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worse dining experience we had while visiting Bologna. While everyone else around us was being served by the same waiter we waited and waited to be served. We were the only non Italian speaking table in his area and it seamed that he purposely ignored us. The table right next to us had all three courses before we were on our second and we got there at the same time. We had four at our table and another table that had 8, was sat after us got their food before we did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious! I got the filetto di manzo alla griglia con ratatouille di verdure, and my husband the tortellini. The service was great, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to sit us near the live band outdoors. We had a wonderful time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no reason one should book at Cantina Bentivoglio only for a meal and not also for the music, although this option is at hand if you really wish to.
CB gets full 5 ⭐️ for atmosphere, cosyness, service, entertainment and food.
But I don’t feel like leaving here the full score as, to my taste at least, the duck breast came a teensy bit not warm enough (still very enjoyable).
The other one you see in the pics is not a dessert but a starter! It was so intriguing and when the tongue doesn’t meet the eye, the experience is even more fun ?.
It’s a wonderful place, especially if you are in for a romantic time with your loved one, or even if you wanna dip your toes into some great jazz.
Try it, and book in advance, be advised ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All of the dishes we ordered were tasty. When we were there, there was live jazz music by very talented musicians. Fair prices for a nice restaurant and friendly staff that knows English. Also nice interior design. I really liked the pumpkin cappuccino appetizer.
