Very kind stuff in camp and office. Train going very close to camp site, driving day and night. Camp isn't directly on beach, railway and street is beetwen. It's 3 min wallking to the sea.

If only we had read Jan Eikes comment we wouldnt have to suffer though all of this: - tiny pitches - ridiculously expensive (small tent + 2 people + car = 29 €) - ridiculously expensive wifi - pool costs 6 € extra - hot shower costs extra - nicely situated between a train line and the coast street, the trains are quite frequent from 6 am to 10 pm :( - noisy childrens disco and after that adult disco until sunrise + Pizza was decent and affordable I really can't understand why so many Italian families seem to have settled down here. There are better places to spend your holidays...

The only good thing was that its close to the beach. Overcrowded, overpriced, dodgy drinking water which smelled bad and gave all family stomach problems. Queues everywhere. No toilet paper. Noisy. Etc etc etc. That was not our top choice, they just happened to have places. Probably because everyone else knows how bad it is!

Worst camping experience I've ever had: robbed; trains passing in the night and worst customer service I've ever received. Having cycled 800km up the south coast of Europe on a cycling tour from Barcelona to Florence, you'd imagine any camp site would be a welcome site. How wrong you'd be. I stopped at Delfino for one night, in that night I experienced a poor night sleep as well as having my possessions stolen. Noise: nearby the campsite there is a regular train that goes back and forth, this was meters from my pitch. Also, there were noises of screaming children and what appeared to be some kind of domestic happening in a nearby council estate! Robbery: after a long hard days cycle I took a well earned shower. As my phone was low battery I put my portable battery charger on with I phone charger. Within the space of 20 minutes, coming out of the shower I found that my possessions had been stolen! Customer service: for the cherry on the cake, the bearded gentleman (I presume owner) said let that be a life lesson to you for leaving my stuff unguarded, continued to laugh and then went on about his travels had made him travel smart and I live in some fantasy world. I presumed being a secure site, there would be some kind of cctv or some level of protection over my things. This had not been a problem in my previous stops: Barcelona, roses, argeles sur mor, sete etc, however the camp is clearly insecure. Either way, what happened happened, but this does not excuse his behaviour! He said if I brought this up with the Italian police, they'd laugh. Unsympathetic and arrogant, But: I haven't let this ruin my experience, I have since found countless camping sites, lovely people and all have given me the benefit of the doubt of security and camp site accountability! Don't waste your money on Delfino: travel further up the SS1, and find a better night sleep ?

Kind stuff and special atmosphere there, but thats all. Train and road is too close and spaces are not that big as u can expected. But I think in the area are all camps the same.

Camping is pretty compact. No private place for you. Better take a place by the railways, loud but no people going to toilet. Warm water costs 50 cent...and Wi-Fi too! On 21 century :( Beach is pretty small and not that comfortable. For 55€ per night its pretty expensive. Weekends is nightmare, because of disco near by!!

Owner really friendly. Really good area for tent. Bar. Not good for wheelchair users. To access the shower there is a step. There is a bathroom for wheelchair user.

Overall OK. Toilets and showers where not very clean, no toilet paper available. Personal was very nice. Not much room. Strand is 5 min walking distance and rocks with stand. No shower at the beach. Also the camping is between a main road and train tracks
