★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After some hot and busy days in Verona and Firenze we stopped over at Carlo and Donata in La Fontanelle. It was absolutely perfect - if you like remote and quite places in the nature. Carlo had some great tipps and his campsite is really clean and beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful idyllic campsite under big trees in the middle of a tuscan nature reserve. Very affordable prices and you‘ll hear all kinds of nature-noises in the night. And lots of fireflies if you stay up until dark. There’s even fresh herbs all over the place. The view from certain spots over the maremma is stunningly beautiful. If you love the simplicity of life, you’ll love this place.
