Great parking space for the motorhome to visit Siena. Unfortunately you can only pay for 24 hours (€ 20). Unfortunately there is no electricity. Siena is within walking distance from here, we were only on the square for a few hours and it was perfect for us.

Free until 8/31/2020 for campers. Very wide stays, partially shaded in the morning. A 15 minute walk from Siena.

Convenient camper parking area 20 minutes walk from the center, about 1 km from the mechanical staircase of Santa Caterina. We were lucky that until 08/31/2020 the parking is free, normally you pay 20 € / 24 h, in my opinion a bit too much for the few services it has. Free water loading and unloading. At night it is very noisy because it is located in the middle of a kind of large, high-speed roundabout.

Noisy parking, central but exaggeratedly expensive for the services offered! In winter the parking spaces on the sides are full of mud. The road that leads to the escalators and the center is dark and without sidewalk ... you risk being hit !! Guys you make me ashamed of being Tuscan !!

Convenient for visiting Siena, but expensive. Paying 20 euros whether you stay 2 hours or 24 is not correct. At least splitting 12 or 24 hours would already be much fairer.

Chaotic area. Fixed price 20e but there are no other parking spaces. So they decide. We stayed two hours in Siena for a quick visit and always 20e we paid. Attention ⚠️. Parking area not level, surrounded on the two long sides by busy roads, the pedestrian crossing that allows you to get out of there and head towards Siena is a Russian roulette, you have to cross with 100 eyes, there you run. It is about 20 minutes from the escalators that lead to the center and here too be very careful because the road is understood by motorists as an F1 circuit, there is no pavement and there are some curves that hide those who walk. Area open to anyone, there are no fences, there are no protective bars, there is no one. Enter, park on the blue strip and puff ... pay 20e

Large elliptical parking lot (a big bean in fact) on interlocking, practically a large roundabout with traffic and noisy both day and night: you sleep because you are tired, but it can be annoying. Hybrid camper and courier parking, there is camperservice with gray / black unloading in a single grid and clear water loading. I saw a camper waiting for a choir boy to finish cleaning the windows of the vehicle occupying the camperservice, really bad. 20 € / 24 hours not divisible, so I recommend arriving after 6pm, staying overnight and having the whole next day to visit Siena. The only good thing about this place is that in 15 minutes walking uphill along via external Fontebranda you are in the S. Caterina and Fontebranda parking area from where the escalators for the Duomo and the Campo leave, you need to take a little hike but then you are in the historic center. Probably the best place to leave the vehicle for the visit of the center. The best and also the only one. The first stretch of uphill road has no sidewalk, if you have children be very careful, here they run which is a pleasure. There would also be a minibus service leading to the center, Piazza Indipendenza terminus, it seems to me n. 54 or 84 but I didn't understand how to get the ticket and I walked to the escalators after the Santa Caterina car park. To eat in Siena I recommend getting sandwiches at the Agricultural Consortium (via Pianigiani 9) which is in the center, in front of the historic site of Monte dei Paschi, here you will find everything and more, a sandwich with local sliced ​​starts from € 2.5, and to eat them directly seated in Piazza del Campo. Comfortable shoes, Siena is all about ups and downs.
