★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of few places actually open during winter mintes in South of Italy. The gate was locked but the phone number was written next to the gate and we got an answer when we called. The staff arrived 5 minutes later. He opened the gate and started cleaning the bathrooms and toilets. This was a good sign but the place needed more cleaning in our opinion. The nets used for providing shade in the summer were ripped and hanging down from trees, plastic chairs and other pieces of summer outfit were lying about as well as piles of cut down tree branches. The latter were taking the spaces meant for camper pitches. Sadly the impression all that made was unfavourable especially if the price was 15€ per night (discounted to 13€ if we'd stay for a week or longer). I am not a fan of aesthetically displeasing surroundings but we'd have stayed there if the discount was larger or if the place was better maintained/managed. On the bright side the area was very nice. Quiet spot next to the beach, cycling path and close to small town centre. I hope the management would consider appropriate steps if they really want to stay open in low season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice owner, Bruno, who helped in countless situations, free choice of Camp site in early season, nice place found in the shadow. Only criticism concerns the cleanliness of showers, toilets and sinks, this can surely be improved also during early season. The beach is 2 min away, a great place at "baywatch beach bar"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, inexpensive and relaxed. Nice beach with bars and restaurants. Only downside of the camping it has paid showers (50c) which did not seem being used or operational. I did not have the 50c coin so took the beach shower. I do not see this working for longer than 1 night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bruno was an excellent host! He helped us in many ways, he even offered a ride to the train station after our stay. We really enjoyed our stay in the afrodite camping site. Very good location, close to the beach and market. Strongly recommend
