★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere (20 anni fa) personalmente il signor Ridolfi erede della calzoleria Petrocchi. Mi fece su misura una full brouge che ancora oggi indosso. Mesi fa ho ordinato a sua figlia un polacchino in martellato colore melanzana...tutto online e via telefono. Scarpetta di prova, scelta della fibbia, della pelle, suola, tacco etc...Assistenza direi top. Complimenti e ancora Complimenti. Erede di una tradizione e custode di una grande Maestria.Complimenti ancora Signora.... condividerò e consiglierò il suo lavoro. Alla prossima (scarpa).
I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Ridolfi personally (20 years ago), heir of the Petrocchi shoe factory. He made me a full brouge that I still wear today. Months ago I ordered your daughter an aubergine hammered ankle boot ... all online and by phone. Test shoe, choice of buckle, leather, sole, heel etc ... Assistance I would say top. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le scarpe su misura sono sempre state il fiore all’occhiello dell’artigianato romano. La concorrenza della grande industria ha funzionato da filtro sulla qualità, molti negli ultimi anni hanno chiuso e solo i migliori sono riusciti a conservare una clientela esigente. Le botteghe della grande tradizione si contano sulle dita di una mano (forse meno) hanno tutte in comune una qualità eccelsa e l’amore per il lavoro eseguito a regola d’arte. La Calzoleria Petrocchi fa parte di questi a pieno titolo, il suo valore aggiunto sta nella rapidità di esecuzione (mediamente un paio di settimane, altrove si parla spesso mesi)
Custom shoes have always been the flagship of Roman craftsmanship. Competition from large industry has acted as a filter on quality, many have closed in recent years and only the best have managed to retain a demanding clientele. The shops of the great tradition can be counted on the fingers of one hand (perhaps less) all have in common an excellent quality and a love for work done to perfection. Calzoleria Petrocchi is one of these with full rights, its added value lies in the speed of execution (on average a couple of weeks, elsewhere we often talk about months)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less than one star!!! Rude at best, certainly anti all non-Romani, and most likely "razzisti" against anyone not from their neighborhood. In Italian (& in a most respectful courteous way), we asked for help with a simple shoe repair. Living in Roma for several months in Ponte, we thought it would be great to get some local help with some repairs on my wife's Italian shoes. The lady said rudely "we will not do that for "you" with an ugly smirk, intentionally indicating and emphasizing her disgust at providing the service.
Please take your shoe business elsewhere! Ponte is a great area in Roma Centro and it is sad this negozio is not interested in serving all of its patrons.

She walked me through all the options available and I ended up purchasing three pairs of bespoke shoes and a matching belt! The price to quality and level of customer service is unbeatable.
