2 stars only because the melon and ham starter was good. Toilet facilities have no locks, and no drying facilities. Food looks good, but they use a microwave to heat up overcooked and very bland food. Even then the chicken was still pink. White wine was also room temperature. Overall - avoid.

Where do I start? This place was absolutely the worst!!! The food was not fresh and were microwaved upon ordering and the waiter had the nerves to add pastries on our bill that we did not ask for!! The waiter knew I was heated because he kept asking me was everything OK. NOT IT WAS NOT OK!!! To make things worst, he told me they didn't accept card due to their machines or whatever excuse he had being offline. So I had to walk down the street to the nearest ATM to get cash while my wife waited inside the restaurant. Why didn't you tell us before we sat down that you weren't accepting cards?!?! Please avoid this shady and unethically place at all cost! They definitely like to take advantage of foreigners and they sat us in the back of the restaurants which I'm sure were due to the fact that we are AFRICAN AMERICANS!! Thank you for ruining my day.

Complete tourist trap. Don’t waste your time or money. One macchiato (more milk than coffee, really) cost €4.50?! Substandard sandwiches, which we chose after seeing that the pasta on the menu had been sitting out buffet style and would be microwaved before serving. Waiters were rude

Delicious pastries. Coffee is typical. Prices on the bar lower than at the table.

The pastries look quite delicious; however, our plans involved lunch plans with a more hearty meal. The server was knowledgeable about what items were gluten free on the menu and recommended the chicken and potatoes. The spices on the chicken were spot on! However, my son was disappointed that the menu said meat ravioli was available, when it was not. The family opted for tortillinis and spaghetti, which were both just ok. Shockingly, the waitress placed all 3 plates of food in the microwave at the same time in order to heat them up, even though they came straight off the open food bar. Makes me question if the foods were being warmed enough on the bar to prevent bacteria. All meals were between $6-10 and waters were $3 each. When it came time to pay, the waitress insisted we pay her a tip, which is very uncharacteristic of quality servers in Rome.

Delicious food, the waiter was wonderful and he was funny and wasn't annoyed by the boys (like at other places). Very respectful and curteous. I am sad we found this place on our last day, we would have eaten here everyday. Prices are affordable, portions just right, the variety of Italian dishes and pastries were plenty. They have hot food, sandwiches/paninis, and sweets. We tried them all! And okay fellow Americans, they have ice!!!! He was so kind to fill my tumbler. I saw other reviews about the toilette facilities, okay, it is the same across Rome (I feel this place was better than others) and most of Italy so just deal.

We needed a bathroom after visiting nearby attractions, so we stopped in here. We ordered 2 small pastries and 1 soda. The charge for the desserts was fair (4 euros each). The charge for the soda was not (4 euros). When I asked the waiter about it, he said there was a charge for taking up a table (a coperto), which was not listed as such on the bill. The restaurant was empty. Copertos in Rome are illegal unless they tell you in advance about it. They did not. Bathrooms were okay. Food was okay.

I'll never come back here. Place not suggested at all. Paid 2,50 euro for only 1 espresso just because I was sit outside. The coffee wasn't even good, plus I had a wait of over 10 minutes. In other places you can find the same coffee paying 1 euro with even a better taste. They also tried to don't let me notice the high price by offering me a little sweet but this is not the right way to act.
