★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, right in front of giant castle gate and city walls ruins. Little bar inside, plenty of tables outside. Friendly service even though I don't speak Italian at all ?sorry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good little place that I liked well enough to back to. The eatery is in a very picturesque niche right by the old city gate, with charming vistas. There are nice tables outside and inside. Both locals and visitors frequent it, for coffee, drinks, or food. The first time I had an empenada lunch special (not a typically Italian dish, I realize) which included a beverage for about 10 euros, and the second time, I had a nice Milanesa, breaded thin steak, with french fries ('patatine frite'). Both dishes were quite good, service was attentive and the people friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff. Quick service. Nice antipasto plate to pick on while sipping our pre-dinner drinks on the outside patio. Great atmosphere. And close to everything. Right under the medieval towers. Cobblestone streets everywhere. Didn’t go inside, but it looked cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tasty food, a bit to the expensive side. The service was not that good, but the waiter did speak English. We got disappointed when we ordered "sauce rice with salmon" and it contained chili, which was not mentioned on the menu. So if you do not like chili, make sure to ask before ordering a dish.
