★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati con mia moglie a cena in questo locale a fine Agosto 2021, non era finesettimana. Il menù è senza dubbio ricercato, si nota lo sforzo di distinguersi dai soliti piatti di pesce, in un territorio difficile, che difficilmente apprezza la novità o il ristorante fuori dai giri.
I piatti rispecchiano parzialmente il menù: la ricercatezza del menù si perde cioè nella tecnica che non riesce a rendere omaggio ai tanti ingredienti. Lo spaghettone sulla carta sembra il piatto dell'anno, in bocca è un piatto mediocre, il calamaro, invero molto buono, non giova della ridondanza della glassa (perché, in Sicilia, perché?) né del pomdorino salato.
I dolci invece totalmente sottotono, quasi a far capire che lo sforzo è concentrato sui piatti salati, peccato.

 We went with my wife for dinner at this venue in late August 2021, it wasn't the weekend. The menu is undoubtedly refined, you can see the effort to stand out from the usual fish dishes, in a difficult territory, which hardly appreciates the novelty or the restaurant out of the ordinary.
The dishes partially reflect the menu: the refinement of the menu is lost in the technique that fails to pay homage to the many ingredients. Spaghettone on paper looks like the dish of the year, in the mouth it is a mediocre dish, the squid, very good indeed, does not benefit from the redundancy of the icing (why, in Sicily, why?) Or from the salty tomato.
The desserts, on the other hand, are totally subdued, as if to make it clear that the effort is concentrated on savory dishes, which is a pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because what else would you do before a swim but load up on pasta? We had the most delicious seafood pasta here, and I also really appreciate that the bread brought out beforehand, which is often nothing more than a stomach filler, was proper bread and served with an excellent olive oil.
