★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I along with our two small children visited last Thursday, which was the last night of our visit to Milan. We didn't just have a meal - we had an experience! We were instantly made to feel welcome (even without a reservation) to this charming restaurant with its beautiful decor, ambient lighting and relaxed atmosphere. Families and couples, young and old alike all appeared to be enjoying themselves at the Bottega Sicula and no wonder! Biagio (apologies if misspelled) I believe was the gentleman who served us and he went above and beyond his duty to ensure we enjoyed our evening. The food was some of the best Italian that I have ever had. 10/10.

But it's more than worth the ride.
Super nice decor, super service (with that typical Italian nonchalance),...
And then the food: superb! Every dish was top (I'm still dreaming of that delicious squid ;) ).

My husband and I walked by, since we are staying at the Visconti Palace Hotel and had just arrived from Positano, and were looking for a place to eat close to our hotel. We asked for reservations for the next night and the person who was attending to guests, told us, in the worst possible way, that they did not have any available tables for the foreseeable future. I have never encountered a most rude, stupid (this is not how you should treat potential customers) and ignorant person in all my travels through Europe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful food, delicious flavour. I had the langostina sashimi followed by a sea urchin roe spaghetti and cannolo for dessert. Really, really good. The service was impeccable. A friend of mine from Milan who lives in Australia recommend the restaurant and I was not disappointed.
