★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affascinante sito, testimonianza – così come Porta S. Gervasio - della vecchia cinta medievale dotata di quattro porte d’accesso alla città e ognuna fiancheggiata da torrioni cilindrici. Sottoposta a restauro una decina di anni addietro, è in buone condizioni di conservazione.
Fascinating site, testimony - as well as Porta S. Gervasio - of the old medieval wall with four gates to the city and each flanked by cylindrical towers. Subjected to restoration a decade ago, it is in good condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno degli scorci più belli di tutta la città di Lucca, in cui ti senti ancora un pò in pieno medioevo, quando le mura di cinta e le porte di ingresso alle città avevano una valenza completamente diversa da oggi. La ristrutturazione a cui è stata sottoposta, l'ha riportata al suo antico splendore senza intaccarne minimamente la storicità. Veramente bellissima.
One of the most beautiful views of the entire city of Lucca, where you still feel a little bit in the middle ages, when the city walls and the gates to the cities had a completely different value from today. The renovation to which it has been subjected has brought it back to its former glory without minimally affecting its historicity. Truly beautiful.
