★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un borgo a sali e scendi con vista sulle montagne ..Montalbano e da sempre il paese dalla terra pendente forse perché le case dell'antico borgo si arrampicano quasi in verticale lungo la parete sud del monte della Riva .IL paese ha conservato intatto il fascino dell'antico fortilizio con il sali e scendi di vicoli , la Chiesa settecentesca di Santa Maria Assunta e l'attigua canonica su cui si erge il campanile del 600 di notevole interesse sono l'insediamento di San Michele , l'oratorio di san Filippo Neri e l'oratorio della Beata Vergine del Rosario di via Piana . Tutto intorno il panorama e stupendo a nord folti boschi risalgono la riva a sud invece lo sguardo spazia oltre la valle del Rio Missano e arriva fino al crinale dellappennino tosco emiliano dominato dal Cono alle scale e Monte Cimone .
An up and down village with a view of the mountains .. Montalbano has always been the village with a sloping land, perhaps because the houses of the ancient village climb almost vertically along the south wall of the Riva mountain. of the ancient fort with the ups and downs of alleys, the eighteenth-century church of Santa Maria Assunta and the adjacent rectory on which the bell tower of the seventeenth century stands of considerable interest are the settlement of San Michele, the oratory of San Filippo Neri and the oratory of the Beata Vergine del Rosario in via Piana. All around the landscape and wonderful thick woods to the north go up the shore to the south instead the gaze sweeps beyond the valley of the Rio Missano and reaches the ridge of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines dominated by the Cono alle Scale and Monte Cimone.
