Partiamo con un buon vino gentilmente offerto. Su consiglio del personale di sala prendiamo primi e secondi di terra e mare molto buoni e veniamo stupiti soprattutto per la qualità della materia prima usata. Come dolce lasciamo allo chef carta bianca, che ci delizia con un tortino dal cuore caldo con gelato al lambrusco. Bellissimo posto curato in ogni minimo particolare. Ottimo per serate in compagnia ma anche per cene più romantiche. Ci torneremo sicuramente. We went to this venue on a Sunday evening. Excellent welcome from the dining room staff ready to satisfy every need with a smile. We start with a kindly offered good wine. On the advice of the dining room staff we take very good first and second courses from land and sea and are amazed above all by the quality of the raw material used. As a dessert we leave the chef carte blanche, who delights us with a warm hearted pie with Lambrusco ice cream. Beautiful place with attention to every detail. Great for evenings with friends but also for more romantic dinners. We will definitely be back.

Location meravigliosa con vista castello, terrazza panoramica e tanta natura. Cucina ottima con piatti di tradizione ma trattati in maniera innovativa dallo chef che ha fatto tesoro della sua esperienza londinese portando un tocco di sofisticatezza a pietanze locali, varie e gustose. Tutto al top: servizio, cucina, location. Torneremo presto!!! Grazie per la splendida domenica che ci avete fatto trascorrere. We had a wonderful time in the 'bubble' on BiancoMatilde's terrace, served impeccably by Marzia, an excellent sommelier, among other things. Wonderful location with a castle view, panoramic terrace and lots of nature. Excellent cuisine with traditional dishes but treated in an innovative way by the chef who has treasured his London experience by bringing a touch of sophistication to local, varied and tasty dishes. Everything at the top: service, cuisine, location. We will be back soon !!! Thank you for the wonderful Sunday you made us spend.

The trademark desert, the "bianco mangiare" is almost impossible to find elsewhere and is an update of a historic regional dish. I highly recommend Borgo BiancoMatilde.

Food was especially fine with ingredients from all local farms. Wines were local and although I can’t recall the specifics were perfectly paired with each dish. Service was excellent, particularly having to deal with English speaking patrons. If it wasn’t clear so far, my wife and I highly recommend Borgo BiancoMatilde.

The location sits atop a hill overlooking the town of Casina, offering gorgeous views of the town and expansive views of the region on the other side of the property. The food was outstanding, from beginning to end, and incorporated the best of the amazing regional specialties - we had some of the best charcuterie we've ever had, among other delights. The rooms were charming and the perfectly comfortable. Highly recommended, especially if you're touring around the area.

Borgo BiancoMatilde sits below the 10th century Sarzano castle and has unobstructed, breathtaking views of the Apennine mountain range. We enjoyed many dishes, including a classic, delicate cappelletti (tortellini) in hen’s broth and eggplant parmesan (the cheese made down the road at the Latteria Sociale San Giorgio and aged for 24 months) and the most beautiful soft boiled egg with a red yolk (!) and shaved truffle. I have never had kale tempura before - one green leaf looked like a little Christmas tree and this surprising dish was both crispy and creamy. The paccheri pasta with rabbit and venison medallions with porcini mushrooms were also favorites. For dessert we enjoyed lambrusco ice cream and Bianco Mangiare - yoghurt, ricotta and mascarpone sprinkled with fresh berries. The friendly, knowledgeable staff recommended a sparkling white - spergola - and red lambrusco that were both refreshing and smooth, complimenting the meal beautifully. There is a lovely terrace outside the dining room where we watched the full moon rise over snow capped mountains after our unforgettable meal. Incredible!
