★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent seafood and fantastic service! We were completely blown away by everything, we left feeling wonderful and well taken care of! We found it by chance because we simply couldn't get a table at Assunta Madre - no worries though, we were definitely not missing out, because Bistrot del Mare was over and above our expectations! The raw scampi, langoustines and red shrimp were so delicate and sweet, and my salt crusted sea bream was prepared perfectly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good but pricey. we enjoyed our fresh raw scampi and prawn starter, my monkfish main was very good also, my partner enjoyed her two fillets of fish until we saw she was charged for 500g for two small fillets. The service was ok, the wait staff were not the friendliest. You are poured champagne on seating which was nice but this is also tacked on to your bill with no choice. 5euros per bottle of water and if you finish one they will open more without asking you.
The experience was good but for the price, I have had much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, great menu choices from seafood dishes to wine. Thoroughly enjoyed the fresh langoustines and the sea urchin pasta was to die for. Coming from London I find the prices reasonable for the quality, friendly and helpful services and atmosphere. Dine in style and taste, if you look for cheap and cheerful...look somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heaven!!!!!!! If there is one thing in Fontane Bianche that is worth paying a visit to, is this Bistrot Del Mare. Fish is fresh, staff super polite, view to die for, and a safe heaven for anyone suffering from any allergy of intolerance! Chef Peppe is a true gentleman and an amazing professional, understanding up to the smallest details the implications, and indeed responsibilities, of a good restaurateur whose ambition is to make you eat (very) well and healthy! I am in tears while writing this review as i am moved on a personal level from the kindness and openness of ALL the staff here. Our child's allergy to peanuts was taken very seriously and we understood immediately to be in safe hands! Word up to people like them! Long life to businesses like these! Bistrot del Mare rocks! The food is absolutely magnificient and i would like to say that their food is really really good. Their Scottona burger is the best burger we've ever had, and their Frittura Mista (calamari, shrimps and baby squid) is one of the best you could ever hope to eat....EVER!
