★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant in the centre of syracusa. We didn't feel like eating fish; a lot of restaurants in syracusa mainly have fish. This bistro has a variety of choises of french and italien dishes. Very tasty and big portions. Prices are average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing. 12 euros for a main course which was eight small pieces of ravioli in a sauce and nothing else. I mentioned to the senior member of staff that the portion was very small, perhaps naively expecting to be offered something in addition, but was told "this is what it is". This was our only poor restaurant experience in Syracuse, and also one of the most expensive. Don't be mislead by smart decour and higher prices into thinking that you are in one of the better restaurants. The Bistro Notre Dame is to be avoided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These three stars are for the decor and the nice staff. However, the service was chaotic and unprofessional. They brought out the wrong orders three different times. And the food was just bad. We had two different types of ravioli. Both were luke warm and seemed like they were reheated. They never brought our salad, so I don't know if that was better.
This was unquestionably the worst Italian food I had in Sicily. Perhaps their French dishes are better. Given the huge number of great restaurants in Ortigia, I suggest passing on this one for dinner.
