★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il belvedere della collina di Zaro è un piccolo spiazzato da cui si può godere un bellissimo panorama del comune di Forio. Nei dintorni vi sono i famosi giardini della Mortella e la chiesa dedicata a s. Francesco di Paola ove nei tempi passati era usanza di celebrare i venerdì antecedenti la festa liturgica con una funzione religiosa e i Foriani per devozione partivano a piedi da Forio per recarsi al santuario e dopo la funzione salivano al belvedere per chiacchierare e godersi il panorama con il tramonto.
The viewpoint of the Zaro hill is a small open space from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the town of Forio. In the surroundings there are the famous Mortella gardens and the church dedicated to s. Francesco di Paola where in the past it was custom to celebrate the Fridays before the liturgical feast with a religious function and the Forians for devotion left on foot from Forio to go to the sanctuary and after the function they went up to the belvedere to chat and enjoy the view with the sunset .
