★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe if I had stayed at the hotel I had booked it may have been nice. However, the booking system is very confusing and the email list the BB22 and address in all email correspondences. Be VERY careful when booking to confirm if you are booking the small boutique hotel which we had or the larger older tires hotel called the palace a hotel I would never book. When we waited for 90 minutes outside the address listed in ALL email signatures from the BB22 BOUTIQUE hotel no one was there to receive us. I called the telephone number listed and the person who answered said she was there but she was not. We were hot and tired from a long journey and had to book another hotel. The manager insists we booked the PALACE which we DID NOT and was quite rude about it with no consideration or professionalism for a guest. They immediately charged us for the room which we never saw or stayed in. BE CAREFUL if you make a BOOKING HERE and have them CONFIRM the address. They really should have separate email signatures for the different hotels as it is very confusing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me bb22 is the perfect setting for a Palermo vacation. It is conveniently located in the Centro Storico, within walking distance of many of Palermo's cultural treasures. bb22 is my home away from home, and I can heartily recommend it to those who wish to experience Sicily's capital city in comfort and style. Each room has a unique decor and all are inviting and tastefully decorated. There is good WiFi service included in the price of the room. I have enjoyed extended stays here and the warmth of the proprietors and staff of bb22 is second to none. They are more than willing to help make your stay, long or short, a pleasant one, with their extensive background in local tours, transport and dining options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the nicest places to stay in Palermo. Everything was pretty smooth, from our arrival to our departure, and the room itself was really nice and spacious. The B&B is located in a nicer and a bit more charming part of Palermo, and is within walking distance of many of the key sights

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was great. It’s feels like an Air BNB more than a hotel that has a 24/7 Conceirge and reception. We didn’t mind it. Didn’t necessarily need those services while here. We rented the suite which was very spacious with a living area, kitchen, huge closet, etc.
Emanuela, the main receptionist, was amazing. Very sweet, helpful and quick to answer. Rodi checked me in and immediately started circling items on the map of what to see / do. Flori ironed a few pieces for me so staff is amazing.
Location is great. So close to Vuccheria - one of the food markets but also has tons of restaurants and bars. Less than a 10 min walk to Via Marqueda, another pedestrian street with restaurants, bars and shops. Honestly felt like we weren’t far from everything we wanted to see / do but were on a quiet, clean street.
Only a few drawbacks. 1) the bed was not the comfiest. If you’re deep sleepers then maybe it doesn’t matter. 2) breakfast isn’t robust. I think due to COVID it’s at a local cafe and was just a coffee and pastry. TBH we just went to the supermarket and got fruit and yogurt.
Overall I’d recommend this as lodging for Palermo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group of four stayed 2 nights, in two separate rooms. This B&B is absolutely wonderful!!! Rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished with every comfort and luxury. Fabulous breakfast!! Rodi was very thoughtful and gave us directions to local attractions. Very highly recommended!
