β β β β β One of must see of the monuments in Ravenna. Great, magnificent scene at the celling shows the baptism of Jesus. The place is small, good to step by in the way to the basilica.

β β β β β This one is not part of the "all-in-one" ticket, but for 2β¬ it is totally worth it! I suggest visiting it BEFORE battistero Neon, if you want to follow the (hi)story of the religious tensions between Arians and Orthodox.

β β β β β A small building from the late 5th century, a little bit "in the shadow" of other RavennaΒ΄s churches with mosaics. Beautiful ceiling mosaic depicting the baptism of Jesus Christ inspired by very similar mosaic in Neonian Baptistery. Definitely worth a visit.

β β β β β Fantastic .I would suggest if you are looking at all the Ravenna mosaics go here first.Its a small room with a limited number allowed and may close early in the day (possibly noon ,depends maybe on the month you are there) Have euro coins as the entrance ticket is bought from a vending machine outside the baptistery
