β β β β β Il palazzo, ovvero ciΓ² che ne resta, Γ¨ perfettamente valorizzato ed oltretutto il biglietto per la visita ha un costo irrisorio. Al suo interno non potevano mancare i famosi mosaici.
Globalmente una visita che Γ¨ quasi impossibile evitare, si trova a fianco alla bellissima chiesa di Sant' Apollinare. Conviene visitare entrambe.

 The building, or what remains of it, is perfectly enhanced and moreover the ticket for the visit has a negligible cost. Inside, the famous mosaics could not be missing.
Overall, a visit that is almost impossible to avoid is located next to the beautiful church of Sant 'Apollinare. It is worth visiting both.

β β β β β Rovine suggestive che contengono i mosaici strappati dal vero palazzo imperiale (oggi obliterato da case e parcheggi costruiti sopra le rovine lΓ¬ a fianco). Peccato che l'orario di apertura (solo lunedΓ¬ mattina!?) sia a dir poco demenziale, considerando oltretutto che normalmente di lunedΓ¬ la maggioranza dei musei sono chiusi, quindi impossibile da combinare con altre visite per chi si trova a Ravenna per un giorno. Se la Soprintendenza voleva che nessuno andasse a vedere questo monumento, hanno trovato il modo. Geni.
Evocative ruins that contain the mosaics torn from the real imperial palace (now obliterated by houses and parking lots built over the ruins nearby). Too bad that the opening hours (Monday morning only !?) are nothing short of insane, considering also that normally on Mondays most museums are closed, therefore impossible to combine with other visits for those who are in Ravenna for a day. If the Superintendency wanted no one to go to see this monument, they found a way. Genes.

β β β β β Costo modesto, 2 euro, per la visita al cosiddetto Palazzo di Teodorico. Peccato non ci fosse possibilitΓ di visita guidata. Nella stanza superiore ci sono svariate parti in mosaico.
Modest cost, 2 euros, for the visit to the so-called Palazzo di Teodorico. Too bad there was no possibility of a guided tour. In the upper room there are several mosaic parts.

β β β β β God have mercy on the terrible planning and opening times of Italian museums! E-mailing with the tourist agency, to please make a exception or make a private reservation to see it on 16 september. Such a pity that such a famous site- if you are interested in the long history of Italy, is so limited accessible. Hopefully more stars later.
