★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porta Volta è una delle porte più recenti di Milano, ricavata lungo i bastioni spagnoli, oggi demoliti, per consentire una più diretta comunicazione fra la città e il Cimitero monumentale, oltre che con la nuova strada per Como. La porta venne aperta nel 1880 lungo il tracciato delle mura spagnole di Milano, erette nel 1555 ed è composta da due caselli daziari secondo una funzione unicamente daziaria. Tenuta abbastanza bene e vale una visita, come tutte le altre porte di Milano, per conoscere meglio la città e la sua storia.
 Porta Volta is one of the most recent gates of Milan, built along the Spanish ramparts, now demolished, to allow a more direct communication between the city and the monumental cemetery, as well as with the new road to Como. The gate was opened in 1880 along the route of the Spanish walls of Milan, erected in 1555 and is made up of two toll booths according to a purely customs function. Quite well kept and worth a visit, like all the other gates of Milan, to get to know the city and its history better.
