The trendy and elegant Corso Como begins from there, and this gate opens to door to one of the most cool areas in Milan, the Isola Quarter full of restaurants, bars, dance places, fashion stores, artists studios. The gate itself is not ancient, built in 1825 and the side customs horses were added later on. Today it houses design studios displays.
