★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID AVOID AVOID. Instead of Barcaccia this place should be called Merdaccia. Traveled everywhere in Italy and this was absolutely the worst tasting gelato I had. Straight sugar and it tastes like artificial flavor. All flavors blend in. Not to mention it is extremely overpriced. What a shame to the Italian tradition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly over priced gelato. Go a few blocks west and get better gelato for 1/4 of the price. Hand written receipts and the staff barely make eye contact.

Except of that - nothing worthy to mention, the prices are crazy expensive, I was served the dessert with a scoop of ice cream I've never asked for and was charged for it. The service staff wasn't friendly at all and kind of tired of their job.
For one capuccino, one espresso, one cannolo and one cornetto plus service included I was charged 26€.
Pretty, tasty - yes. Worth it? No.

I have to admit the ice cream was very good, but still 10€ for a regular cup with two scoops?! Are you out of your mind?!
Also, I guess it’s fine you can charge 10€ if you want to, but please display the price. I have not seen any prices for ice cream and if they are displayed, I apologise but they were obviously not very easy to spot.
Service was poor. My friend asked how many flavours you can get in a cup and he was rushed with the answer 1, 2, 3… in a slightly rude tone. It seems like staff are fed up of working with tourists who ask questions. The situation in this place reminded me of an episode in south park when Eric wants an ipad and mum refuses to buy it. Then he claims he was insulted by his mum and says: “make sure you wine and dine me before you f£&@ me in the @55, mum!”
Hence, I say, at least treat me extra well before you screw me over!
