★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On A-line metro to Termini. Sadly so many faults; several broken ticket machines, broken-down escalators, and dirty walkways. Graffiti everywhere and a long walk from street to train. The Rome Metro is suffering from under-investment, and it’s hard for people to respect the infrastructure when the owners clearly don’t.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now open. - 2022. Barberini station is currently closed (9/12/2019). This closing is not updated in Google maps. Do not plan on using this station for several months. Check the Rome Metro site for updates about the Barberini station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its ridiculous the train station does not accept credit card, and can only accept 6 euro cash. I strongly recommend carrying many coins for buying tickets where necessary. There is also no Currency note to coin changes and the station counter wont entertain you with coins changing.
However, they do have 48 and 72 hr tickets which are totally worth the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible! They use unreliable payment system and card data used at the Rome transport system could be stolen. Use your card under no circumstances at Atac. Allways check your card statements after visiting Rome.
