★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited San Daniele del Friuli to sample some prosciutto and found this bar. We found locals there having a light lunch of prosciutto carved as they ordered it. Taking their advice this is exactly what we did and had the prosciutto on small pieces of fresh bread. Believe me we've only once ever tasted prosciutto this good and that was some jambon in the countryside in Portugal. If you're in San Daniele try this place the prosciutto is superb - you can have it with wine or coffee. Brilliant!
