R	Rick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, although clearly has seen better days as shown by the disused funicular down to the beach for example. Also only one person serving in the bar each night we were there and she apparently had to write out in full every drink purchased, as a consequence you could spend 30 minutes waiting for a drink.
A	Anne Clark on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel a bit tired had problems with communication with staff as didn't speak English food was ok but a lot of meats not cooked properly on grill .Hotel very isolated nothing round about it so had to take taxis or buses everywhere. Free bus wasn't always available as often booked .after 4pm had to pay for it .felt drinks were expensive and not much entertainment. Very steep hill to get to hotel and very busy road so couldn't go for walk anytime .bpool bar food not good at all .didn't try spa as very expensive.
R	Robert Handscomb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two nice pools: shallow one warms quickly and is just deep enough to swim in; but you need confidence for the deep pool (it has no shallow end!). There's nowhere to walk on site except up and down the short drive - the main road is far too dangerous for pedestrians. A courtesy bus can be booked for visits to town or the allocated beach. Lots of steps within the hotel buildings, giving character but not good if you've got mobility problems. Restaurant waiting staff were a bit cool towards our group to start with. Try to keep your own record of drinks bill because the chits they write are not legible if you want to check them. Try to converse with the staff in Italian - they really like it and will encourage you.

We were in a touring party and had very good spacious rooms with a large balcony although the woodwork outside was rotten and falling to pieces. The meals were all buffet style with a good selection. On our last night there was a wedding party in the main dining room and we were put into a large room under the hotel and the food was cold and dreadful. Very pleasant bar area and we did, on the whole, enjoy it. migobax.

Breakfast was an okay buffet but just look at the sunrise. We didn't have time to look around but apparently it is difficult to walk to the beach from this hotel.

The rooms were very drab and old and need refurbishing, this hotel was in a very remote location so you can’t just pop out to the local sites, we were not advised of this. Food was the same most nights, cleanliness was ok I don’t the balcony furniture has had a clean for a long time. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The snack bar had a very poor menu and I don’t think the kitchen looked that clean, with one member of staff serving and making the food. The entertainment was very poor the same every night. Sicily itself is a beautiful country just disappointed as it was suppose to be a 4* hotel ...........

The hotel is located on the side of a mountain that is falling into the beautiful beach of Sicily. This view from everywhere in the hotel is making a very relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant, with very good value for money. Many dishes are made on order in front of you, pasta, grilled meats and fish. Breakfast is good with great selection. The staff of the hotel front desk and reception are very kind and helpful. Parking at the hotel is brilliant and very helpful.

In fact the negative comments people posted recently is very insensitive, considering this is a difficult time for everyone, especially people in the hospitality/tourism industry. Hotels have been closed during Covid and now that they have reopened, most hotels are having difficulty with staff and technicalities. The general public should understand it is difficult moments for all. We had a great experience at the hotel with the staff being very helpful and trying to sort out any issues that arose. The view from the hotel is spectacular. We will definitely return.
