In the middle of CHianti hills, it offers the possibility really understand and appreciate how - during middle ages - more than 100 monks used to live in the abbey. Among the various things you can see, the amazing fresco by Domenico Ghirlandaio (recently restored) will surprise you. The best option to get there is by guided e-bike tour. The interiors of the abbey and Chianti rolling hills will exceed your expectations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to go which has views of vineyards. The castle was closed on Saturday but it was still a nice place to go. There is a B&B right next to it as well as few restaurants and winery for wine tasting. Unfortunately the chapel was closed so we couldn’t see it.
