PLEASE READ BEFORE SITTING. If i could give it a big fat -0 i would. Stopped here after visiting pompei ruins. Walked in took 15mins to get menu. Mrs popped up and walked to get one staff gave her attitude. We ordered our drinks and food with a very unhappy waiter. Food was below par nothing. Dont let the looks fool you into believing it might be a good place. Once done I asked for the bill after 15mins I didnt want to miss the train back to Naples walked up to pay the bill again really unhappy waiter. Bill came to €30 bit expensive for one pasta bowl of chips and 2 cokes. Didn't have enough cash so I said pay by card, waiter informed me they didn't have a terminal even tho i can see one that was powered and working right infront of me. Waiter calls the boss he tells me I have to pay by cash I say I dont have €30 cash to pay I have credit card. He said I should of asked him before hand this boss thinks that not showing a cash only or getting waiters to advise patrons that cash is the only option for payment before hand is the right way to inform customers, plus have the nerve to tell me that I should seek to find him from thin air the moment I walk into his not so great restaurant. I told him where was the closes atm so I can get im the correct cash he said 1km away. I said ok give me 10mins ill be right back with your cash Mrs dodgy restaurant owner. After mumbling in italian like I didnt understand he told his waiter to pay it by credit card and on top of that my bill was exactly €30 they charged me €1.35 extra to pay by card. Plus they charge there customer €1 to go to there toilet first restaurant ive been in italy that ripps off people. Please o please people do not go to this restaurant. They positioned themselves in a good spot just out the exit of pompei ruins they look nice and fancy but they are a dodgy business with exorbitant prices to rip you off. Save ur money if its the best advise I can give you.

Food quality: 0 Stars Price range: Expensive for the quality Service: not good at all. Do you like to eat well? Don't stop here, even if the "Godfather" like old man looks and sounds nice and lovely. The prices are ridiculously expensive (17€ to eat a really bad menu without beverage, add other 6€ for a simple beer and you are lucky if they accept to serve you the dessert, instead of it you'll more likely have the very low quality coffee). Add some € for the service too... And they'll be very pushy to be paid on cash. Very disappointing experience that I would not deserve to anyone else. Hold your hunger and find some other place to eat.

While there was nothing vegan by default they were happy to russle up some Italian style veg especially for me. The taste was simply awesome and totally blew me away; the peppers alone would have earned a 5 star review - but then there were also the fresh olives... And as if that wasn't enouth there were also a number of cute cats walking about!

Great food and good service. Prices are what you should expect for a decent restaurant so close to a major attraction.

Caution, Lure! Free parking for guests. You save 10 euros parking fee if you eat there afterwards. We had 2 tourist menus (17 euros each, first course, main course, salad, desert). But it wasn't worse it. The bread basket was cleared from the table next to us, 2 breads refilled and served! First course and second course came at the same time. The gnocchi were ok, the meat was tough and cold, the pasta with mussels and the fish at most lukewarm. We had to wait for the drinks so long that we were almost finished eating. The desert was only available on request. But the waitress was the worst. No smile, just a bad mood. We have been waiting forever to get another drink. Not to mention the bill.. 5 Euro for a beer, 4 Euro for an orange juice. Do not be fooled by the nice look of the restaurant ...

I wish I had checked the reviews before falling into this tourist trap! 6 euros for a freshly squeezed orange juice, plus an extra euro (!) for bringing it to the table. The prices were not clearly advertised, so no way to properly protest, but clearly not recommended. Never again.

Very tasty meal. I travel off season so most restaurants were closed and none were crowded. I enjoyed the fried seafood. I have never figured out why calamari and octopus are always more tender in Italy, delicious. Midweek with bad weather is the way to see Pompeii

Service terrible. Food adequate. When it eventually arrives. Less than honest. They add, disclosed, a whopping 15% service charge, and then pretend they only take cash. They do have a card machine. Of course. One restaurant to avoid. Their relationship with the tax authorities is their business. Their relationship with the customer is mine.
