β β β β β My friends and I booked a hotel from October 15 to 17 this year. Upon arrival it turned out that our reservation "was cancelled" despite the fact that we booked through the official website of the hotel and there is no room for us. The day before we even got a confirmation text message that we can come earlier and leave our luggage. Reaction of receptionist was beneath contempt, she told us that it's not their fault and laughed in our faces, did not help to find a new place to sleep and said that we should leave the hostel because she has other customers...
We were left in a foreign country, foreign city without a place to sleep. I really donβt recommend this hotel! You spoiled our holiday!
And please donβt comment that this situation never happened. You know very well that this situation happened and that it's true.
EDIT: You can't find me by my name because I was one of 8 people who were harmed. The name of the person who booked the hotel starts with the letter P. Don't lie to me or I will report you additionally to booking.com as dishonest.

β β β β β I do not recommend this place to anyone! The worst hostel and staff ever.
We had a reservation for 8 people and due to βtechnical issueβ (that's what the lady at the reception said) this reservation was not reflected in the system. Despite the evidence and e-mail trail that we had, the lady at the reception claimed that she is not able to do anything because she does not have our reservation in the system. She also said that it was not her problem.
Mistakes are happening but the reaction of the receptionist was outrageous. Instead of apologize and help with searching new place she was trying to convince us that this is not a hostel fault and her behavior was very disrespectful.
This is not a fake, itβs a true story.

β β β β β As my friends wrote earlier, I also do not recommend the hostel. We made a reservation in October 2021 through the official website of this hostel. We have received an e-mail confirmation that the reservation is confirmed. Upon arrival, it turned out that our reservation did not exist. The staff laughed and said that it was a system error. total lack of support for tourists who wanted to use their services. When e-mail communication was shown to them, the reason for not booking was that there was another colleague on the shift!

β β β β β We were here for two nights and everything perfect, service, cleaning and commodity. Special mention to the waiters, they were really nice and funny. I would come back.

β β β β β Picturesque hostel, friendly and helpful staff, criminally low prices, lovely vintage atmosphere. Just a few-minute walk from the closest metro station (San Babila) and the cathedral (Duomo di Milano)
Spacious room with an equally spacious bathroom with one toilet stall and 2 for showering, a sink and a mirror with a massive old-school window overlooking the outside.
Comfy bed, lockers provided with keys, all-around decent.
Free breakfast!
The only low light from my stay was a very unpleasant roommate staying in the same room with me who left me with no choice but to check out early (no blame lies on the hostel and the staff, of course)
Highly recommended.

omg i cannot emphasize enough how amazing this hostel is. So close to Duomo (location is great), great bar & vibes, AMAZING staff members, kind services and more. The receptionists are so sweet?
They helped us store our luggage for the time being without charge and provided us a place to chill anytime. Price was definitely reasonable for the stay considering the amenities
My group definitely had a great time here and would love to come back and stay here again. Thank you Babila!!

β β β β β Of course, the hostel's location is amazing. It is superbly clean and the washrooms are amongst the cleanest I have come across in hostels. But more importantly, the staff here is amazing. I injured my back and they did whatever they could to help me. I am grateful to them... A big shout out to them!!! Cannot recommend the places enough!!!

β β β β β The hostel staff are a welcoming, efficient, obliging team, with an impressive commitment to making your stay the best! Foyer and bar annexe are cool to relax in and also vibrant spaces - fortunately, the sound insulation of the establishment is second to none - and the dorm carefully designed and comfortably appointed. I loved the extra space worked into the bathroom, toilet cubicle and shower. And the extra-long bunk bed had a higher and wider spec than you usually get, with a solid structure and excellent mattress.
The period lift transports you into another age but because not all guests close the triple doors with care it might not transport you to your floor!
I love this hostel!
