★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On that evening I wanted to eat some vegan stuff, and I got offered "black rice with vegetables and shrimps" without shrimps. My wife ordered a "cotoletta alla milanese with potatoes" without potatoes. As a result we both got the same amount of the remaining ingredients as it would be in the original dish, in my case like one third of a portion of rice, for the same price as original dish. The food was not bad, but we both went home hungry. :-(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yet another gem, located near Piazza Cinque Giornate, this is one of those extremely local, and extremely excellent restaurants that you're unlikely to stumble upon - but if you do somehow end up there, you do so over and over and *over* again.
The food is - always - top notch, the ingredients stellar, the daily specials the things to go for, and the wine-list excellent.
Friendly staff and low prices makes this place almost too good to be true... :-)
