★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifull palazzo, very nice breakfast, nice staff, good location if you are willing to walk 5 - 10 minutes to go to the old center. Watch out with parking your car. We parked it at the city walls, side of the sea and we didn't have a "self-called" controller, who you have to give money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Fantastic property inside and very nice room . Our shower cubicle was a little tired but the room etc was great . The street outside was a little run down but came alive at night with street food vendors and bars .. Negative: If they replaced the shower cubicle the place would be perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: As a converted palazzo it is beautiful and unique. It was cleaned to an excellent standard everday. The bathroom has been recently renovated and is very modern with a rain shower too.. Negative: Outdoor area was a little small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The b&b is in a 10 minute walk radius to the centre, a short walk to the harbour and right next to the botanical gardens which are beautiful! The staff that work at the b&b are absolutely lovely and did there upmost to check we were comfortable and gave us a map to show attractions in the area. The pool was a bonus as the beach is about an hour on a bus, if you want to have an afternoon without the commute! Really recommend this b&b to stay! :). Negative: N/A.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The stay in B&B Porta Carolina was amazing. Contact with the owner was flawless. He was very helpful and made the holiday with our little son very comfortable. The lady who resides at the hotel on a daily basis also deserves the best rating. She devoted a lot of attention to us, always smiled and fulfilled all our whims (even the breakfast ones).. Negative: We have nothing to complain about..
