Family run winery. We have been buying our wine here for several years, Barbera, Urtrugo, Bonarda, all excellent, genuine and at affordable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scoperta ieri sera alla rassegna Calici sotto le stelle a Ziano. Buono il loro spumante 100% Chardonnay: profumato di mela verde con retrogusto delicato di miele al palato. 4 stelle invece per il loro gutturnio superiore 2016: profumo intenso di frutti rossi, in bocca molto persistente con sentore di fumo (proprio affumicato) e legno…che invece non c’è! Questo trucchetto è dato dal terreno calcareo della zona che dona tracce di legno senza reale passaggio in botte. Strutturato ed elegante.
Discovered last night at the Calici sotto le stelle exhibition in Ziano. Their 100% Chardonnay sparkling wine is good: green apple scented with a delicate honey aftertaste on the palate. 4 stars instead for their superior gutturnio 2016: intense aroma of red fruits, very persistent in the mouth with a hint of smoke (just smoked) and wood ... which is not there! This trick is given by the calcareous soil of the area that gives traces of wood without real passage in the barrel. Structured and elegant.
