★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Francesco is a very nice wine. We visited him as we spent some days in Suno and after reading an article mentioning his wines (La revue des vins de France). I send him an email late in the evening and he was very responsive, proposing a visit the next day.
His place was started by his grand father and Francesco is working on its own. So do not expect to have fancy marketing presentation. You see the true story of a wine maker. We tasted a sample of 4 of his wines. And to be honnest I was surprised how good they were (and if you compare with the price, that seems great deals). The Vespolina (local grapes) is great is you like spicy and stong wines, the Barbera is perfectly balanced and the Nebbiolo we tasted showed a promising potential.
Unfortunately you cannot find his wines in Belgium or in France, but you can order them online.
Great wines, very nice man.
