Abbiamo avvisato il castello dell’accaduto e ci hanno liquidato con un “arrivederci” senza nessuna empatia. Per loro il nostro cane era spacciato (non riusciva più a camminare con le zampe posteriori) e la risonanza, a detta loro, sarebbe stata utile solo ai fini diagnostici; inoltre sostenevano che non avremmo trovato nessun veterinario che ce lo operasse, vista l'età. Fortuna nostra, abbiamo voluto sentire un altro veterinario, che ci ha poi consigliato uno specialista, il quale, vedendo il cane ancora in ottima forma nonostante l'handicap del momento, ci ha ben rassicurati che l'età sarebbe stato il meno dei problemi, e infatti ora non solo il nostro cane è tornato a camminare e a fare i suoi bisogni autonomamente, ma corre pure. Che soddisfazione sarebbe farglielo vedere! Per loro la fossa era già bella che scavata, ora invece i fossi li salta. "Se non è zuppa, è pan bagnato", vero Doc? A mai più.
