★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da Castellammare del Golfo, seguendo la strada principale in direzione di Scopello S. Vito Lo Capo, a sinistra, subito dopo la località “Crocifisso”, dove si inizia il complesso boscato “Inici”, in area demaniale ubicata sopra la strada, è stata realizzata un’area attrezzata che, per la vicinanza al centro abitato e per la felice ubicazione panoramica, e divenuta presto meta d’obbligo per un riposo e per una sosta nel corso di gite scolastiche. Da
quest’area attrezzata munita di tante panche e tavoli in legno, punti cottura, fontanelle, servizi igienici e cestini portarifiuti ed un piccolo parco giochi per bambini, si può spaziare lo sguardo sino a Capo Rama, lungo tutta la costa da Castellammare a Balestrate. Il complesso boscato Inici, su cui insiste l’area in questione, è estesa più di 200 ettari e si compone di specie di pini mediterranei, purtroppo devastati dall’evento calamitoso del fuoco, che ha ridimensionato l’originaria superficie boscata. L’area può essere considerata un punto di sosta momentaneo perché, proseguendo la strada, si può raggiungere la Riserva dello Zingaro, area protetta gestita dall’Azienda Foreste Demaniali della Regione Siciliana.
