★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al passo del Redebus si trova questo sito archeologico di Acqua Fredda, una delle più importanti fonderie preistoriche della tarda età del Bronzo d'Europa. Presso il sito gli archeologi hanno riportato alla luce una batteria di nove forni fusori e altri strumenti per la lavorazione del minerale di rame, come le macine che servivano a ridurre il minerale e le parti terminali (in ceramica) dei mantici usati per mantenere la temperatura attorno ai 1200 gradi centigradi. Resti di reperti lignei come pali, assicelle, un tavolone sono probabilmente ciò che resta di tettoie, recinti e piani di lavoro. Il sito è aperto al pubblico e visitabile liberamente tutto l'anno. At the Redebus pass there is this archaeological site of Acqua Fredda, one of the most important prehistoric foundries of the late Bronze Age of Europe. At the site, archaeologists unearthed a battery of nine smelting furnaces and other tools for processing copper ore, such as the millstones that served to reduce the ore and the end parts (ceramic) of the bellows used to maintain the temperature. around 1200 degrees centigrade. Remnants of wooden artefacts such as poles, slats, a plank are probably what remains of sheds, fences and worktops. The site is open to the public and can be freely visited all year round. Vetrate rotte dal caldo/freddo.
