β β β β β Great food from Puglia. Barbara is a culinary genious. Try the pollo pugliese, cima delle rape and spaghetti allo scoglio. Great pizza as well. We have been eating here for the past 8 years and have never gone away hungry or disappointed.

β β β β β Favourite meal we had in Verona. No frills. Just great home food. Friendly staff, not a lot of English but if you make the effort with buonasera and grazie they're happy with pointing. My girlfriend had the rabbit which was very good. Only complaint was the bread but that almost didn't matter. Far better prices than elsewhere.

β β β β β Great quality Italian food at a super affordable price. I ordered a pizza and 25cl house wine and it only came to β¬9! The food was absolutely delicious and service was great, everything was cooked from fresh and so quickly. It's a tiny restaurant but that doesn't detract from it at all! I highly recommend this place to any visiting or in Verona. I will definitely come back and eat here again!

β β β β β My first stop when I come to Verona. I crave their Chicken alla Pugliese when I am away- itβs made by the owners wife and is outstanding.... truly my favorite chicken in the world. And β¬10. I take myself there for lunch and Iβm smiling the rest of the day.
Atmosphere? Like your nonna and nonnoβs house, and thatβs why it feels like home. Personal relics on the walls, photos, a menu comprised of true home cooking.
What are you craving?
Iβve never gotten the pizza but go here for:
*polpo & potatoes
*chicken alla pugliese
*pasta with butter & cheese
Just brought my bf and we ate our entrees, bread, table wine, and mineral water for β¬25 total. In the US, that would only cover my 2 glasses of wine... itβs insane how good the prices are for a delicious dinner.

β β β β β Seemed like local favorites in Verona. Near the university. Affordable price with delicious selections. We had several appetizers and then a dish each. Mine was a pasta (looked like half of a gnocchi) in a tomato based sauce. Also the wine was delicious!
Strongly recommended when you are in town. Italian is the norm but at least one waitress knew English.

β β β β β The food moved me to tears.
It's not that this is our first time in Italy.. but the food here in Arca di Noe' have a unique home-sweet-home feeling to it. We ordered:
Orecchiette con cime di rapa (orecchiette with red chilli pepper, anchovies and green vegetables called rapa)
Orecchiette con pomodorini et basilico (orecchiette with fresh basil and cherry tomatoes)
Pollo pugliese (slow-cooked pugliese chicken)
The ingredients were fresh and good.
A good Italian pasta does not have to be complex in terms of preparation. That cherry tomato pasta was simple with four ingredients only, but it was so well-prepared that we felt like we were in heaven!
Learned about that cime di rapa dish from an online recipe. And tasting the "real deal" in Italy just made me realize that the beauty of this dish lies upon the harmony of the ingredients. We had such a great time!
Also tried the cold red wine(Rosso Freddo, 18 euros / bottle). Very interesting and pairs well with the food.
We will go back again and try their pizza!
