★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Torcolo was a really good experience for us. The service was quick and professional and the coperto was rewarding. We had the amarone risotto, which we enjoyed very much. We also tried som pasta with burrata and tomato sauce that was excellent. I would love to eat here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional food the only sad thing is that you feel the reluctance of the staff from the very beginning. Lofty, rude staff and unable to speak please or thank you. In addition, it does not explain what you get as a gift for a good start. With such an elegant interior and very well served food, a few rude people can spoil the impression of a real culinary feast. Unfortunately, the level of service is inadequate to the level of food. Staff should be trained in customer culture and behavior. Only the chef was very nice and could tell you about the dishes served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous--both inside and outside. They have some very unique Veronese dishes and their food was tasty. These two factors definitely make it worth a visit. However, I will note that the service was neither friendly nor efficient and the staff seemed very stressed out. It was extremely busy (we went on a Sunday at around 1:30 pm for lunch). We did not have a reservation so we were lucky to get in, but this is a place that you should make a reservation for, even for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frankly, I can not say enough good things about Torcolo. This location is staffed by some of the most warm and helpful people that I have met in Verona. There is something of an Italian American feel to this restaurant, Like little Italy in New York, back in the day. This restaurant featured one of the best steak tartar dishes I have ever experienced. plus a plate of roasted and boiled meats that fed this hungry traveler very well. A wine list that is diverse and affordable. Understanding of gluten free. And frankly, at every moment that I was there, I felt that the team that runs this restaurant was constantly seeking to assure that I was having the best experience possible. ?
