Locale pulitissimo e barista molto attento e scripoloso nell'osservare le regole anti covid-19. È stato un piacere.

Beware of going to this bar! I'm American, and have gone here for a bit, but on one event this summer, July, my wallet was stolen from my purse! This is strange because there were only 3 patrons there, and a manager/owner and her parents. I thought it was ridiculous until this evening while I needed to kill 20 min until my bus came, my eyeglasses were stolen! Again, same manager there...And her parents. ?? I have always felt safe in my village. Now I *know* there are bad people around, and most people should NEVER feel safe even in a small village. I know now, I am not. So, walk on...you'll find another glass of wine or sandwich somewhere else. These things were very creepy deliberate actions done to me. A middle aged woman alone who's doing her shopping mere meters away. My bus stop is there. I'm feeling very worried about this village. UPDATE : As of last week, following this REAL experience and review, "to be fair" - I indeed recovered my glasses. I went there, actually hoping to talk to one of the 2 people I like very much who manage this establishment. Wanted to ask her what actually occured, regarding my eye glasses? To my surprise, the moment I arrived, they were returned to me. That was interesting; it followed my previous review. So, happy to have my 9€ reading glasses recovered. And I am STILL deeply concerned as to what joke was played up in me regarding my wallet. Because there was 150€ LOST during that offense. Mostly, since Iive here, what this locale truly lost was my trust. Sometimes, this is more valuable than money. In this case, I truly hope some courageous person will step up and speak to the fact there were 3/owner manager types inside this "locals" place, and the rest were 3 male clients. All known to me, and vice a versa. My purse was actually unbuttoned, a wallet taken, and then fastened anew. Whilst I was washing my hands, a manuever only done by asking for a key....thus, it was known to all there I was in the bathroom one door away, middle of the afternoon, and how on earth did my purse get opened, a wallet taken, then closed again with 6 people present, and all eyes everywhere? That's the questions here. One believes a small town or village here to be a "community" - but that feeling only exists when the people present behave in such a way. I'm still deeply hurt to have had such a brutal message given to me....And NOT by a thief. ...who would just take the purse, or dump the wallet in the trash after taking its cash contents. No, this is what we call, an "inside job" and I will wait for the day I am given an apology. As a woman over 50, alone in this village, I deserve more than this. This small locals cafe has been a place always trusted by me, and I am good friends with many of the locals who frequent this locale. I am proud of that. But I hope whomever did this, or clearly "allowed it to happen" remembers we ARE community, and I would like the truth. Because respect is easy to loose, but hard to recover. It's about trust. NEW INFO!!! FINALLY.... Good news for our "Cavour" - I am proud to announce there is new ownership at this local place I've always enjoyed, until this summer's "incident", which you've noted my unfortunate experience. New very helpful and kind owners, as well, as some small changes which make it more comfortable. In fairness I must state I feel the climate has changed and no longer worry about the dodgy past owners, who clearly were not up to the task of making patrons feel safe and served. Come for a hot chocolate! Stay for the partita. ...you'll find they are open 7 days, and they've indicated until midnight. Happy to have new inspired owners....

Have been traveling all over Italy for weeks. Everyone accepted our CDC cards. Walked into this place, Asian guy took one look at our US CDC cards and refused us service. Would not even listen to my explanation that the Italian website says that the CDC card is accepted in place of the green card. He said something to us in Italian, the other patrons laughed. So we left. Screw them
