Merita una sosta, soprattutto per pranzo grazie alla soleggiata terrazza. Risotto zucca e porcini buonissimo!! A once-upon-a-time family-run tavern with a rich à la carte menu and a good choice of local wines. Worth a stop, especially for lunch thanks to the sunny terrace. Pumpkin and porcini risotto delicious !!

Prezzi ALTISSIMI per un menù senza particolare gusto. Piatti molto comuni, porzioni misere. Abbiamo finito con un conto fatto grossolanamente e senza scontrino. Alla richiesta di vino sfuso arriva una bottiglia aperta, ne mancava un quarto, fatta pagare per intero come nuova. We went for lunch, on Easter Monday. Beautiful terrace overlooking the hills. For the rest definitely below average. VERY HIGH prices for a menu without particular taste. Very common dishes, poor portions. We ended up with a crudely done bill and no receipt. When asked for bulk wine, an open bottle arrives, a quarter was missing, charged in full as new.

I piatti di tradizione locale preparati dal proprietario e sua moglie, sono gustosissimi e molto equilibrati. Il maître è simpaticissimo e molto professionale. Grazie e alla prossima! Beautiful place nestled in the hills. We were welcomed like at home. The traditional local dishes prepared by the owner and his wife are very tasty and very balanced. Prenotiamo con amici per un pranzo domenicale e troviamo questo posto, che offre una bella vista e sui colli pavesi. L'accoglienza è buona, si respira aria di casa e si sente in questo la mano del titolare, signore lucano che ti mette a tuo agio sin da subito. Le pietanze sono molto buone, con una valorizzazione di verdure locali e dei piatti della tradizione, cosa che ho particolarmente apprezzato. Nel mio caso buono l'antipasto della cotoletta in umido all'aceto, buono il coniglio al vino (bombarda) e spettacolare il gelato con zabaione fatto a mano. Purtroppo non lascio la quinta stella perché i ravioli al ragù non erano all'altezza, pur essendo ben conditi. Tutto il resto ottimo. A corner of good cuisine in the Oltrepò Pavese. We book with friends for a Sunday lunch and we find this place, which offers a beautiful view and the Pavia hills. The welcome is good, there is an air of home and you feel the hand of the owner, a Lucanian gentleman who puts you at ease right away. The dishes are very good, with an enhancement of local vegetables and traditional dishes, which I particularly appreciated. In my case the starter of the stewed cutlet in vinegar is good, the rabbit in wine (bombarda) is good and the ice cream with handmade zabaglione is spectacular. Unfortunately I do not leave the fifth star because the ravioli with meat sauce were not up to par, despite being well seasoned. Everything else great.

The food is excellent and all made in-house, it’s so authentic and local and the chef is super passionate as he explains the dishes. It feels like eating and your grandmas house but with better views. He also has some local wines from the small wineries that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Not much English spoken, but the menu is easy to translate and the service is so friendly, no English is needed.
