★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star is shocking to me. The food was better than several I've eaten at in Milan and NY. Not only was the food excellent, the location is beautiful and the service was top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Cave Cantù was a recommendation of our hotel. When we arrived we were impressed by the beautiful location which was set up with an attention to detail. It also included a super nice patio where guests could get an Aperitivo. After welcoming us, the chef showed us a new dining room that they were just remodeling, where also the wine selection of more than 2.500 wines will be stored in huge steelwire racks.
Maria guided us through menu and evening perfectly and the chef recommended a wine of the region to us which we liked very much.
We ended up enjoying an outstanding 4-course-dinner.
Thank you for hosting us and we are looking forward to to return and take a look at the result of the work in progress.
